Low, Medium, and High Voltage Switchgear Maintenance
Maintaining your switchgears and making sure they are in top-notch condition is vital to preventing unwanted onsite outages and downtime. Our field engineers and technicians have extended experience in switchgear servicing in the various industries we serve, such as power plants, municipality water & wastewater facilities, mining, paper mills, and heavy industries. We work based on the national ANSI/NETA and IEEE standards. When it comes to testing your switchgears, we own several pieces of testing equipment of the latest technologies in-house that help to identify/predict future failures.
Low Voltage Switchboard Testing:
Testing of LV Main Switchboards includes contact resistance, insulation resistance, infrared thermography (IR), trip unit primary and secondary current injection, ground testing, and verifying proper mechanical and electrical operation.
Medium/High Voltage Switchboard Testing:
Testing of MV & HV Main Switchboards includes relay testing, infrared thermography (IR), ultrasound for Corona, arching, and tracking detection, insulation resistance, Hi-Pot, cable testing, cable fault tracing, and instrument transformer testing.
Power Vacuum Circuit Breakers:
Testing of Power Vacuum Circuit Breakers can include the following, depending on specific situation:
Relay Testing:
At MP Predictive Technologies, we have an in-house technician who specializes in relay testing, and is capable of servicing the following relay types: electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based relays. We are also capable of replacing/upgrading relays in a relay failure situation. If interested in a relay quote, please reach out to sales@mpp-technologies.com.
Please note that in addition to switchgear servicing, MPPT is a distributor for various switchgear equipment. If interested, please reach out to sales@mpp-technologies.com for a quote now!
